Recovery Month: Together We Learn, Together We Heal

September is Recovery Month. Recovery Month promotes the message that recovery from substance abuse in all its forms is possible. It is also a chance to celebrate those who are in recovery or who are taking steps towards recovery.
American Indian Health Service of Chicago will celebrate on September 23 with an event at the American Indian Center. This event will feature community speakers, information about substance abuse counseling, and information about services for the American Indian community. We will also have fun activities like free manicures, haircuts, and activities for children. Dinner will be provided.
